Two and a half years ago, my friend commissioned me for a Monster High doll customized as a deer with fawn markings, antlers, and big doe eyes. Commission on a Lorifina fashion doll by Hasbro. Was pretty excited to work on this since I haven’t done anything like it before. It’s so odd to not focus so much time and energy on eyes, haha! Owner wanted this face to look more alive and not so flat as it was initially. I hope I was able to achieve that.

Finally got around to customizing a doll again. Moanica is probably the first new character doll I've been excited about in a long time. I was so excited about her design (brains!) and even the execution of her doll (no molded pants!) that I had to get her. It took me awhile to encounter it but after I did it just kept popping up again and again and again. I am of course talking about the much dreaded glue head problem that many doll collectors have with their fashion dolls. Rock hard dolls head covered with oily and tacky hair that clumps and refuses to be brushed or tamed. Simple soap and water do ( Read more... )

This Invisi Billy is my own and I'm pretty pleased with him! I would still like to make little pins and buttons to add on to his clothes and a little skateboard. I have one but it's too clunky (one of those finger boards). Now to paint more boys!

Wind Whistler! My favorite G1 pony! I've been wanting to customize one for quite awhile now and finally got around to it. Some technical mistakes on my part for rushing to see her finished but not too bad. So happy!
